CDBG Fundamentals Certification
This is a three-day course covering the Community Development Block Grant Program. You'll gain an understanding of key requirements for each eligible activity type with the course concluding with a Certification Exam on the final day of training.
To help participants make sense of it all, the course provides a framework for rules on a National Objective basis and ensures that they understand the roles and responsibilities applicable to the CDBG entitlement grantee, its subrecipients, partners, and low-income beneficiaries.
About the Certification Exam
The exam covers critical information taught in CDBG Fundamentals including national objectives, eligible activities, cross-cutting requirements, and CDBG grants management requirements. Please plan to bring your laptop to the training to sit for the online exam. Participants should anticipate spending up to 2 hours completing the exam.
