The successful candidate will have a substantive role in shaping and carrying out the policies and procedures that drive the day-to-day activities that support the company’s operations and will gain hands-on experience associated with the delivery and coordination of training and consulting services. HUD Awards TDA $1 Million in CARES Act Funding

 

​The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) selected TDA Consulting, Inc. for an award under supplemental funding provided by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act)  for the Community Compass Technical Assistance and Capacity Building Program for fiscal years 2018 and 2019. TDA received an additional $1 million grant to provide technical assistance for CDBG grantees impacted by the recent coronavirus pandemic. TDA Consulting has cancelled its classroom-based training programs through August 2020 and is providing additional online training opportunities. Current offerings include CDBG Fundamentals, Build Your Monitoring Plan, and a series of financial management courses, which consist of Key Components of 2 CFR Part 200, The Core of Compliant Financial Management Systems, Approaches to Successful Procurement, Federal Cost Principles in 5 Letters, Financial Statements: The Story Behind the Numbers, and What’s in An Audit. TDA Announces CDBG Fundamentals Online

 

CDBG Fundamentals Online is a four-week online version of our popular classroom-based training course. It provides an overview of the Community Development Block Grant Program, including key requirements for each eligible activity type. To help participants make sense of it all, the course provides a framework for rules on National Objective basis and ensures that they understand the roles and responsibilities applicable to the CDBG entitlement grantee, its subrecipients, partners, and low-income beneficiaries. This course is offered online with two lessons per week over a four-week period. Participants should plan to participate in all lessons since the content of the modules build on one another.
